WRUP: The first WRUP

It feels so great to be back. Plus I get to introduce some new folks to you. Former Massively columnist Tina Lauro has returned to helm more columns, and we’ve brought on Rhys Yorke to handle all the things no one else understands. Fresh meat!

What MMOs are you lovely readers playing this weekend? We’ll show you our WRUPs if you’ll show us yours…

Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): I hope to snag some more time in Guild Wars 2 this weekend. I went PvPing last weekend and had a blast, but I was definitely not playing on the right type of character for it.

Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): I’ll be working hard on both my main Shaman and an old favorite Warrior over in World of Warcraft while I finish capping out my Poetics and taking care of roleplay in Final Fantasy XIV. I also need to make some forward motion in Final Fantasy V and get packing done for an impending move in the middle of next month.

Jef Reahard (@jefreahard): I’m playing holy-[censored]-we-have-a-KS-and-a-new-site-and-[redacted]-and-[redacted]-and-ponies and when’s the last time we slept. Oh and I went back to EVE Online, not because it’s the cure for insomnia or because I want to be a spaceship but because I need a virtual world and damned if there’s another one.

Justin Olivetti (@Sypster, blog): Most likely I’ll be pushing back against Sauron’s forces in Gondor in Lord of the Rings Online, with perhaps some Star Wars: The Old Republic action on the side. I’m starting to see the end of the tunnel for Guild Wars 2’s season 2 as well, so that would be lovely to finish.

Larry Everett (@Shaddoe, blog): On my agenda is a bit of roleplay in Star Wars: The Old Republic, a little bit of raiding in Star Wars: The Old Republic, and a little bit of hard-mode flashpoints in Star Wars: The Old Republic.

MJ Guthrie (@MJ_Guthrie, blog): I will be playing heaping amounts of Soaking Up the Cali Sunshine. I’ll take a few breaks and pop into The Secret World for a little darkness when the sun gets too bright. I also plan to pop into ArcheAge a few times to at least pay the taxes on Minion Land so I don’t lose my properties!

Rhys Yorke (@rhysyorke): While I’m waiting for the components of my new desktop gaming rig to ship, I’ll be pushing the limits of my laptop in Elite: Dangerous, attempting to smug… er… transport goods to a few dark corners of the galaxy, avoid pirates, and earn a few credits for my troubles.

Your turn!
