After languishing in limbo for the better part of a year, mech shooter Hawken will apparently be returning, thanks to a deal with Reloaded Games. The APB: Reloaded publisher signed a deal late last week to buy Hawken from Meteor Entertainment.

“I’m pretty excited to now be able to announce that Reloaded Games is the new owner of Hawken,” Producer Joshua Clausen posted on Facebook. “It’s a seriously great honor to be a part of the Hawken story, and I want to see it thrive. Once the forums are up we will post more information (they’ve been taking a lot longer than I was hoping).”

Hawken’s future was highly uncertain following a string of business disasters in 2014. Developer Adhesive Games went bankrupt while publisher Meteor Entertainment was forced to close one of its offices last year and take its website offline. Hawken is currently available to play for free via Steam.
