WRUP: Win a personal deathtrap edition

This was entirely unsafe even in the planning stages.

People who read this feature, we are happy to announce that you have a once-in-a-this-article opportunity to win your very own personal deathtrap! This unreliable and horrifyingly unsafe vehicle features a variety of unrealistic safety features, methods of operation that expose you to hazards which any reasonable designer would have avoided on the drawing board, and several obvious failure points that are unaddressed on the production model for reasons best not speculated upon. Enter this contest now, and you too could ride home in a craft which makes your every waking moment a struggle for survival!

How do you enter? Why, just read this week’s installment of What Are You Playing, which will automatically select a winner once you’ve forgotten this installment tells you what we’re all playing this weekend. Then we’ll come to your home and smash up all of your reliable and non-deadly vehicles, and you can start enjoying your own unholy device that would be terrifying to operate even if it were not held together by chewing gum and baling wire.

Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): I’m not sure whether Trove or Marvel Heroes or The Elder Scrolls Online will be capturing my attention this weekend. One of those, probably, though!

Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): Leveling stuff to do in Final Fantasy XIV and I think I’m in the mood to crack open The Stanley Parable from the Steam summer sale. Relaxing and comfortable.

Jef Reahard (@jefreahard): EverQuest II and Lord of the Rings Online for me, and a few single-player things.

Justin Olivetti (@Sypster, blog): When I get home from my trip I would dearly love to jump back on my newbie Bounty Hunter in Star Wars: The Old Republic and make some bad choices. Maybe some WildStar too.

Matt Daniel (@Matt_DanielMVOP): I’ll be diving back into Final Fantasy XIV to take my Astrologian through some dungeons, and if I have any extra time on top of that, I’ll probably spend some time with The Elder Scrolls Online and attempt to finally construct a permanent base in ARK: Survival Evolved, assuming I don’t meet my untimely demise at the hands (or teeth, I suppose) of the island’s dinos.

MJ Guthrie (@MJ_Guthrie, blog): I’ll be putting lots of time into EverQuest II and ARK: Survival Evolved. And by lots, I mean lots. I am having a blast on the progression server; exploring without feeling rushed is pretty fantastic. I am also playing a couple new classes for the first time in forever.  As for ARK, there are more dinos to tame into my little family, and more resources to gather so I can ultimately add electricity to my little house. I might also be thinking about some pay back for a few sharks who ate my Cutie Pie during the stream.

Tina Lauro (@purpletinabeans): I’ll be deep in the Heart of the Mists in Guild Wars 2 for most of my weekend. I’ll also be found trying out Marvel Heroes too, so leave me some tips in the comments!

Patron Donor Pierre: Not so many MMOs for me this week-end as I ended up with fever yesterday evening and I’m still dizzy with sore throat and nose today. So I will play 3 games: Rest, Aspirin and Sneezing-Coughing. I really don’t know how I managed to get a cold in the middle of summer… If I get better somewhere during the WE, I will probably play World of Tanks (yes, I had a relapse ;-) ) and some Final Fantasy XIV. Enjoy your MMOs and other video games, MOP readers.

Your turn!
