WildStar is rethinking and renovating many of its systems for the upcoming free-to-play update, even small ones like discoveries.
Discoveries are cracked glowy patches in the game world that can be clicked for random buffs or rewards. Carbine said today that it wanted to improve upon this system and encourage people to hunt for them, so it’s both increasing the number of discoveries that pop up and providing better rewards for them.
With the new update, discoveries have the chance to belch out better buffs that stick around for longer, a zone-exclusive pet for each region, or one of nine new costumes.
