WildStar: Reloaded beta now open to all

There’s no longer a bouncer at the doors of WildStar’s free-to-play beta test, as Carbine has removed the need for a key to access the client. WildStar: Reloaded will launch on 12:01 a.m. EDT on September 29th.

“We’re aware that there are some people experiencing issues with their beta keys expiring,” Carbine posted. “Upon further investigation we’ve decided to remove the need for them altogether. Come on in and give free-to-play a taste test by downloading the test server client, logging in, and having fun.”

On a sadder note, major WildStar fansite WildStar-Core announced that it is closing up shop this week: “To stress a point, this has nothing to do with WildStar; we all still play and love it! It is more that a site like this take an enormous amount of time and none of us are at a point in our lives where we can spare the time anymore.”
