EVE Online launches its Parallax update

Parallax has arrived.

The latest update for EVE Online isn’t quite the show-stopping update that some players might wish for, but it’s still substantial. Parallax contains a variety of quality-of-life fixes, balance changes, and assorted improvements. Its main features are changes to node regeneration in the Aegis Sovereignty system and jump fatigue reduction (the maximum cap is now five days).

Other changes include the new probe scanning interface, new SKINs, and backend code improvements. Add in the usual array of bug fixes and what-not and the patch should be more than big enough to subtly but appreciably change up the game as the developers prepare for the game’s big December patch.
