Tomorrow, Final Fantasy XI is launching its final story-based update. While there will be the occasional bugfix and balance change, the game is functionally ending tomorrow. So it seems only appropriate that the conclusion gets a fitting trailer to send off the story, complete with a parade of NPCs that will be familiar to any veteran adventurer of Vana’diel.
There’s more to the update than simply the end of the story, of course: A new area and new quests await, expansions and improvements are planned for job points, and players can rear new creatures in their Mog Gardens. Check out the trailer just below, and take a gander at the list of changes and additions before the whole thing ends tomorrow.
