Warframe’s got Steam on the brain this week, thanks to Digital Extremes’ decision to bring its multiplayer space ninja grinder to Steam Workshop and enable Steam controller support.

The Steam Workshop allows enterprising community members to submit player-generated content for consideration, while the recent launch of Steam Hardware enables PC gamers to “expand their Steam gaming experience to any room in the home.”

The first round of TennoGen player-created cosmetics is coming “later this month,” according to a Digital Extreme press release. Steam Workshop creators typically a 25% cut of their item profits, but Warframe is “setting the bar higher for its creators at 30 percent.”
