Black Desert Korea adds bounty hunting and jail

With Black Desert on its way to the west in 2016, it’s not a bad idea to be giving more attention to what’s happening with the Korean version, as we’ll probably be benefiting from those updates sooner or later as well.

Steparu is reporting that Black Desert’s newest content update includes a pair of PvE dungeons: Akman Temple and Ruins of Histria. Even more interesting is the addition of a jail and bounty system for PvPers. In the Valencia zone, penalties for player killing (and dying) have been reduced, while those participating can rack up positive or negative karma that could lead to a bounty hunting-type situation.

To bolster the new system, there are two new towns in the region, one for positive karma fighters and one for those dastardly negative karma killers.
