Aiming for the planet.

People have the time to start playing around with their holiday gifts now, but what’s the best use of those gifts? More apropos, is it worth getting your new little Google Cardboard stuff all set up and ready to land on planets in Elite: Dangerous? What does that even look like? Wonder no more; there’s a video just beneath the cut from PhoenixDfire with video documentation of what that looks like.

The video description on YouTube contains full information about the equipment and software used for anyone curious. Even if you’re not curious about the setup, you can sit back and relax as a ship slowly reaches the surface of a planet in stereo vision.
