Take a shot.

Das Tal’s devs have a “massive” test event planned for the coming season. Fairytale Distillery says that its February sneak-peek playtests will be followed by another one in March, then a series of solo-oriented tests, a two-week guild-oriented pre-alpha, and a huge spring alpha test.

“We have very concrete plans for a massive, global Spring Alpha Test with thousands of players where we want to have a large number of game servers running at the same time. Our current plans are to make the whole test 30 days long and start (and finish) multiple game worlds during this time. And we’ll even have you decide on some rules for these game worlds.”

Signups for the test are still open. “We can guarantee that everyone who signs up in February will get in,” says the studio, which won’t give a date but suggests you “keep your gaming schedule free in May.”

Das Tal has seen several updates in 2016 already; the team spent February testing caravan raids, the opportunities system, and guild functionality; March will see an enlargement of the map, streamled flag-capturing, and alterations to the death and respawn systems.
