Overwatch could be releasing a lot sooner than you think, if a web ad is to be believed.

An ad for the shooter game popped up on IGN recently that pointed to a May open beta and release. While Blizzard hasn’t confirmed it anywhere else, this web ad urges players to pre-order by April 29th to gain early access to Overwatch’s open beta on May 3rd. Even more interesting is the game’s launch date, which is posted as May 24th.

Overwatch reactivated its beta test program early in February and has publicly stated that is is launching in spring 2016. Are you ready to lock and load? We sure are!
