Skip through the daisies unmolested on Linkrealms’ new PvE server

Interested in playing the old-school Linkrealms but feeling a little shy about its PvP setting? There’s going to be a place for you in the game once the team adds a PvE server to the project.

That’s right: A PvE server ruleset is coming in April with its Steam early access launch. This second ruleset will limit PvP to a handful of areas, choosing instead to focus on more cooperative activities between players. Unlike the PvP server, the PvE shard will keep gear from being dropped upon death and allow players to limit access to their homes.

The team said that Linkrealms will remain a hardcore sandbox title on all types of realms and that transfers between the rulesets will not be allowed. There will be an open preview of the PvE server on Steam this weekend starting on April 8th.
