In this week’s episode of Star Citizen’s Around the Verse, Cloud Imperium’s Sandi Gardiner and Ben Lesnick foreshadow the game’s alpha 2.4 patch, which has indeed been released to the public test server.
The pair discuss testing bits and pieces too, like the gear and weapons. “I’m still waiting for my female character, devs out there who are watching this,” Gardiner quips dryly.
There’s also a bit of sad news capping off the show: In response to the passing of a backer, CIG says it will be incorporating that backer into the lore of the game.
