ArcheAge announces Ascension 3.0 update for late 2016

As with many other MMO imports from Asia, ArcheAge often gives its community a heads-up as to what’s coming down the pike thanks to earlier releases in Korea that eventually wind their way to the east. Yesterday, Trion Worlds confirmed what some players already assumed, which is that Korea’s Ascension 3.0 update will be coming to North America and Europe “late this year.”

This major update is expected to introduce two new races (the Warborn and Dwarves), auto-roll on drops, an expansion to the skill system, more naval battle options, and a new world boss.
