Gigantic plans June 30 stress test under PWE’s stewardship

Gigantic hasn’t had the best year, what with two rounds of layoffs, the loss of a community manager, and a major delay. The gorgeous hybrid MOBA’s outlook brightened considerably back in May, however, with the announcement that MMO publisher Perfect World had picked up the title to push it the rest of the way to the finish line. And now Motiga and PWE are running a big stress test for the game kicking off in just a week on June 30th.

Those of you who remember when Gigantic was planned as a Windows 10 exclusive should definitely pay attention to this next bit because PWE is ensuring you can play this thing on everything but your toaster:

“We’re planning on running this stress test via Arc, for Windows 7/8/10 64 bit, and Xbox Live, for Xbox One and Windows 10 players, to give both PC and console players a chance to participate. As a quick reminder and as a result of the partnership between Perfect World Entertainment and Motiga, PC players can play on any Windows 64-bit OS! If you are interested in participating in the stress test, make sure that you sign up at GoGigantic.com or here on Arc. Our team will be selecting a group of players to participate and distribute codes on June 29 to allow players to pre-load the stress test build in order to jump in right when the servers go live!”
