This past weekend, ArenaNet crowded the champion of the ESL Guild Wars 2 Pro League Season 2 Finals the single-elimination tourney: Europe’s The Civilized Gentlemen, who defeated American teams Team PZ and Astral Authority and European team Rank Fifty-Five Dragons to take home a $50,000 prize.
The world champion will be decided in September with a $200,000 prize pool on the line.
ANet has put out a four-hour video covering the finals and explaining the state of the game’s e-sports field as well.
