Ana gets some big buffs with the newest Overwatch patch

Sniper heal grandma has no time for your nonsense.

Ana has gotten just a little bit more effective in Overwatch with the game’s most recent patch. While she was considered fun, her healing/damaging shots weren’t making her as effective as she should have been. So the designers have given her a 25% higher rate of fire and a larger clip size, letting her dispense both heals and damage faster. Her other abilities haven’t been altered, but just the change to her clip and shot effectiveness should have a ripple effect. A bug was also fixed to keep targets recovering rather than instantly awakened if damaged while under the effects of Ana’s Sleep Dart.

McCree, on the other hand, has been tuned down slightly, with a sharper fall-off for his ranged attacks. He should be able to get out more effective damage with his flashbangs and alternate fire, but he can’t snipe at the same range as he had before. It’s not a major change, but if you’re playing McCree and you see the look of Ana’s sniper barrel off in the distance… well, that matchup is far less favorable to you now.
