It was always going to come down to this. It’s time to bring an end to Star Wars: The Old Republic‘s latest expansion story, and that means that players will be facing off against Emperor Arcann in the ultimate showdown for the fate of the galaxy. Even with the events of the past chapter still fresh in everyone’s mind, Arcann’s forces are moving to the alliance base of Odessen, and the Battle of Odessen will set the stage for the game’s next expansion and the future of the Republic, the Empire, and the player character.
Early access for the Battle of Odessen begins on August 9th, while the chapter will be available to all subscribers starting on August 11th. Check out the trailer for the climax just below, keeping in mind that there are going to be more than a few bloody noses by the time all is said and done. And if you’ve been waiting for the story to be done before jumping in to experience the whole story… it’s almost time.
