Of Kings and Men hosts short combat beta today

The persistent medieval war simulator Of Kings and Men is hosting a short-duration combat beta this week prior to the game moving into early access. The beta starts today and will run for “a few days” in North America and western Europe. The studio said that it will consider other regions, such as Oceania, if the demand is there for it.

So what’s the purpose of this advance beta? “It will allow you to give the game a longer try, and will tell us how certain game mechanics work out, how we need to adjust progression, what servers we need to bring up in what locations, and what bugs there are left to squash. Progression will be stored until [early access] release, then wiped.”
