Hack-n-slashers, ready your swords: Blade & Soul’s Ebondrake Citadel launches October 5th, which is great timing for Halloween since the update is spooky indeed.

NCsoft describes Ebondrake Citadel as a “formidable prison of evil,” an endgame dungeon that will offer both 4- and 6-player versions.

“This underground ruin is home to the Phantoms, a vicious division of the Ebondrake Cult led by Bale Phantom Zakhan. The Phantoms, known for dabbling with dangerous Dark Chi, use this secret base to subject Bonemask tribesmen to hideous experiments, breaking their spirits and forcing the Bonemask to serve the Dark Lord’s will.”

The patch will also introduce spectator mode for 1v1 arena matches and a huge nerf — the beneficial kind! — to accessory material costs.
