The Elder Scrolls Online wants to send you to Skyrim or Elsweyr

It would have been all too easy for gamers to have missed it amidst the One Tamriel launch hubbub this week, but The Elder Scrolls Online did indeed announce a huge sweepstakes that will send five people (five pairs, in fact) to one of five vacation destinations selected to match up with a location in Tamriel.

  • Kenya and Tanzania (Elsweyr)
  • The Swiss Alps (Skyrim)
  • Peru (Black Marsh)
  • Morocco (Hammerfell)
  • New Zealand (Summerset Isles)

As part of the “Trip of a Lifetime” festivities, ZeniMax has highlighted two of the destinations today. The nine-day “Skyrim” trip to Switzerland, the studio says, will see the winners off to “explore endless hiking trails, […] splash around in the shallows of crystal-blue alpine lakes, […] be welcomed by the denizens of charming Swiss villages nestled in the foothills of the Alps, and [… s]ample fine wines in one of Europe’s oldest vineyards.” If you pick Elsweyr, however, you’ll be going on safari for 13 days in Kenya and Tanzania, visiting six wildlife areas, observing conservation efforts, and checking out Lake Nakuru and Ngorongoro Crater.

Are you all signed up? Which one will you pick if you win?
