WRUP: This week’s schedule for my talk show edition

I ride this on the stage.

On Monday, my guest will be Bree, Justin, and Larry’s childhood sweetheart. Not Larry himself; he’s too busy for me. I’ll also be interviewing someone who I think is the inventor of those slap bracelets but who is actually Raph Koster. Tuesday, my guests will be a zookeeper from San Diego and the zookeeper’s mistress, not from San Diego.

Wednesday, I’ll actually have the inventor of those slap bracelets on the show, but I’ll waste the whole time berating myself for not really interviewing Raph Koster, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid. Thursday we have no guest or script, and I’ll just be wailing and screaming into a couch before launching into a 40-minute monologue about how something is fundamentally broken inside of me in such a way that I am incapable of interacting with other people on a normal level and thus feel constantly, desperately lonely. Friday is Brad Pitt accompanied by me as I try (and fail) to flirt with Brad Pitt.

Saturday, of course, is What Are You Playing. Let us have a sneak preview down in the comments.

Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): It’s gonna be one of those weekends, as I have some plans in the air. Saturday should be fun though, as there’s a Japanese pop culture festival and yeah, I’ll be abusing my Pokemon Go Plus while I’m there. Might actively peek too, as aside from legendaries and regionals, I’m just missing Jynx from my Pokedex now! I’m also curious how the recent gym changes are going to affect the city.

If there’s time, I may jump into Valkyrie and/or Overwatch too. VR’s fun, but my normal gamer friends have been evaporating, so VR with friends just can’t happen, making Overwatch and it’s event slightly more tempting since I’m feeling a need to socialize more

Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): I’m looking forward to getting back to where I left off in Guild Wars 2’s skull island content. Yeah, I’m totally calling it that. Once my husband and I have cleaned that up — and we’re not really close yet thanks to real-life stuff this week! — we’re definitely headed back to Elder Scrolls Online. Just not yet!

Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): All about that FFXIV atm.

Justin Olivetti (@Sypster, blog): I’m spreading out in more MMOs as of late, so I’ll probably go where the wind takes me. RIFT? The wind blows through there often. The Secret World? You couldn’t keep me away. My “try it” game for the weekend will probably be Chronicle: RuneScape Legends, since I’ve heard good things about it.

MJ Guthrie (@MJ_Guthrie, blog): The MoPark server is having a taming bonus weekend, so I will be in ARK: Survival Evolved adding a few more dinosaurs to my herd. I feel like going back in time for a little Heroes and Generals war action as well, and a little bit of Lord of the Rings online to level my Hobbit. I was hoping for some Landmark time, but that will depend on the server being up.The rest of my time will be working on a personal project!

Patron Pierre: I don’t know exactly why, but I felt the urge to play some shooters, FPS or TPS. I’m playing Destiny, and even if I’m not level 40 and cannot play the Rise of Iron expansion yet, I’m enjoying the fun of the game and of its combats. I also went back to The Division. But if I have to choose, Destiny has better feels in terms of weapon impact and speed of combat, and for a PS4 game, it’s gorgeous. Have a nice gaming week-end MOP readers. Cheers!
