Strap in, buckos.

Rockstar made it official this morning: Red Dead Redemption 2 is on the way this time next year.

Why are we writing about it here? This blurby right on the official site:

“Developed by the creators of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland. The game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience.”

It’s currently marked for Xbox One and PS4, with no PC logo to be found, but as our tipster DK points out, Rockstar commonly bumps its games to PC eventually.
