Pokemon Go brings spooky pokemon and candy out for Halloween

It's still here.

Halloween is almost here, and that means it’s time to catch some appropriate monsters in Pokémon Go. From October 26th until November 1st, the game is making spooky monsters appear more frequently, so expect to see more Drowzees, more Zubats, and more Gastlys. (Also more Hybnos, Golbats, Haunters, and Gengars, but those sort of naturally follow.) Good news if you’ve been hunting the ghosts without much luck, not-so-good news if you have more Zubats than you know what to do with.

The flip side, of course, is that candy will be easier to come by for every Pokémon, so you can pick up even more evolutions for your non-holiday-themed menagerie as well. Check out a trailer for all of the event antics just below if you can’t wait to get out there and start grabbing more monsters.
