[AL:Rev]My.com has just announced that the Revelation Online closed beta has finally begun, after a week’s delay.

“Today players can create characters on the North American or European server of Revelation Online to explore Nuanor all the way to level 49. During this first technical testing stage, access will be opened to 10 versus 10 battlegrounds, the Hot Springs zone, and four dungeons with various difficulty levels: Trial of the Four Kings, Darkfall, Deserted Shrine, and Misty Hollow.”

If you picked up a freebie key from us or another outlet, you’re in the event today and can download the game right from the website; elsewise, paid founder packs ($17.99-$89.99) will get you in.

My.com cautions players to expect all the problems associated with a real closed beta. “The purpose of the first CBT is to test our hardware and infrastructure,” says the studio, noting that localization issues, architectural issues, and stability issues all exist. “We will be updating localization and stability issues regularly, so the game experience might change several times during this beta test.”
