The Imperial Realm: Miranda plans its first playtest weekends

Tanks for the memories, you know.

The Imperial Realm: Miranda is likely a game you’ve never heard of, but the fact that it’s an MMORTS with a seamless world is pretty cool. What makes it even cooler is that it’s all the work of one guy who’s been working on this game for seven years now, a lengthy project borne out of love and the desire to see if it can be done. And now he’s looking for playtesters to start off on the first tests of the game, to see what works, what is and isn’t fun, and what could stand to be better in the game.

If you’re interested in the game, you’ll want to hop over and sign up for the game’s mailing list; the first weekend starting on November 18th will be limited to 25 players, while the second weekend has a limit yet to be determined. It’s taken a lot longer than the developer had envisioned to bring the game to this point, but reaching a point of playtesting after seven years feels pretty great no matter how you slice it.
