A new engine remake is coming for Age of Wushu

Just what.

If you had to make a list of the game that currently look the worst due to their engines preventing any better looks, you would probably wonder how in the world this situation came to pass. But you also probably would not have included Age of Wushu in that list, because the game isn’t exactly hard on the eyes. But that doesn’t mean it can’t be improved, and it looks like a new engine is on the way for the game in the second half of 2017.

The new engine will expand both mechanics and graphics, so players can look forward to iterative improvements as well as allowing character data to transfer over. How all of this will play out remains to be seen, of course, since it’s some time away. Still, it’s a new round of spit and polish, and that’s not a bad thing for any game.
