Don’t look now, Destiny, but you’re becoming more of an MMORPG every day. The sci-fi shooter patched in its Dawning update this week, bringing in a holiday event and several new rewards for its players.
Guardians can enjoy Sparrow Racing, which is apparently now here to stay, and complete new bounties while doing so. There’s also a record book that spawns a quest, tons of additional loot, daily gifts, and a strike scoring system.
Not everyone will automatically be able to partake in The Dawning, as the patch and event is for Rise of Iron owners only. The Dawning event runs through January 3rd, and you can get a preview of the holiday and its rewards in the following trailer.
