SMITE pushes Saturnalia to next week

Even gods get held up in holiday traffic sometimes. So go easy on SMITE, as it announced that this year’s Saturnalia has been pushed from the 17th to the 20th. According to the team, this is due to a bug in the quest system that needs to be addressed first.

The good news is that when the event arrives, the MOBA will feature seven days of sales, double XP, double worshipers, and free gems. In fact, if you’re diligent to log in every day, you can net 175 gems before all is said and done. Even better, Hi-Rez is activating a “triple everything” weekend to compensate for the delay.
