Mechwarrior Online is laying out a fresh welcome mat for its players in the form of a new client portal. Those ‘mechs better wipe their feet before coming into the game!
According to the team, the portal “brings improved stability, smoother patching and install procedures, and support for maintaining both the regular standalone client and the public test client.”
The team said that the portal is in a “soft-release state,” which should be translated as “it might be somewhat buggy so don’t pick on it and don’t blame us.” Right now, players have the option to keep the old launcher or switch to the new one, but in the future the game will fully switch over to this improved portal.
