It’s time for some big changes to Riders of Icarus for the summer, and the first round of those changes is happening today. A new development diary explains that after taking player feedback into account, looking at gameplay stats, and just examining the game’s issues, the designers have put forth a series of overhauls to enhance everyone’s gameplay experience. Today’s overhauls include enabling or disabling auto-attacks, new Legendary Coin rewards, and new daily quests for taking on World Bosses.

While players will still need to fight over the contents of chests from World Bosses, the new daily quest will ensure that you still get something for participating; similarly, the new Legendary Coin rewards allow you to purchase things other than just recipes. The second part of the revamp will include major changes to crafting, Legendary dungeon loot, and Fractura adjustments. It’s not going to shake the game’s mechanics down to the core, but all of these should changes should ultimately mean that you get more rewards and feel as if you have more control, all of which is a good thing.
