What powerset do they not have? Water, plants, a true sonic set, a true radiation set, gravity, staff fighting. There’s so many I would like to see but I seriously doubt we ever will.

Personally I always wanted a water set in CO. Also plants or radiation. Or Sonic, there’s a couple of sonic powers but nothing enough to build a character around. Really I want pretty much all the powers CoH had. Sadly if I remember rightly they said a while back they’ll never add entirely new power sets to the game now.

I am always impressed this (good) game is still alive? Haven’t played for years now…

This game would have been so much better, if Marvel never got cold feet and it was launched with the original name “Marvel Universe Online”. No offense to the Champions, but they are to the superhero genre as the Go-Bots are to the giant transforming robot genre.

What I want is PWE to either fully support this damn game or put it out of its misery. I hate it when games like this limp on long after they should have died. It’s sad because I really enjoyed this game, but then they decided to limit F2P behind some very stupid restrictions and no new content. I look at Star Trek and Neverwinter and wonder if PWE put the same support back into Champions could it make a comeback? Sad :(

I’d love to see a true Radiation powerset.

For powerset, maybe a kinetic control set, like Speedball.

Hrm, powerset….I would go with some sort of time based power set, being able to slow or freeze opponents in time, damage em via erosion or aging, superspeed related powers etc.

Music, because I just got done dealing with Crypt of the NecroDancer and the Metronomicon and have the urge to dance/sing my way to victory.

They didn’t say it had to be a good powerset…

It’s nice to see that the Champions Online dev team didn’t forget their own anniversary this year. You know, like they did in 2015.

Cryptic didn’t “forget” it. The anniversary date fell on a Tuesday that year, but they chose to enable the event on the regular Thursday morning maintenance. A Star Trek Online player decided to be a narc and tipped MOP.

I think it could benefit from a dedicated Cosmic Energy/Radiation powerset

Celestial might be the closest to Cosmic Energy we’ll see. But it works pretty well in that right.

I’d like to see a radiation powerset.

Isn’t the Supernatural set basically this? Green powers, toxic damage?

MMO game support powerset would be a real bonus /sigh :-(

Reader

Yeah, the game IS on Dev Team ‘life support’. They’re running pout of old events to recycle.

A kusarigama style power set would be amazing!

Some kind of chi/ki/qi casting powerset would be neat. Eastern mysticism and such.

They should give Lifetime Subs to Massively for the contest. Five would do it.

Probably get more interest in this contest.

The game needs a nature powerset. Animal companions, wind, plant control, poison etc etc.

Time would make for a great power. Controlling time to heal allies or damage foes :D

I would love to see a gravity control type power set.

Reader
Bruno Brito

Force is there.

Reader

It’s not the same as the CoH controlers though. That and 2 of the powers involved with gravity require unlocks from Gravitar and loot box.
