BlizzCon reveals this year’s virtual ticket plans, broadcasts pre-show

Is there anything really important between now and November 3rd, when BlizzCon 2017 begins? Probably not, so we might as well all start hibernating in our pumpkin spice caves.

However, it might behoove some Blizzard fans who can’t physically attend the two-day convention to check out the virtual ticket as a way to hang out at the show from home. It sounds like this package is even better this year. Running fans $40, the virtual ticket offers coverage of every stage, panel, and special event during the convention as well as a $10 discount on the Blizzard physical goody box, a customized viewing list, and replays up to a month after the convention.

The ticket also comes with in-game goodies, including a choice of either a either an Alliance Skychaser or a Horde Interceptor World of Warcraft flying mount that can be redeemed and used today. It also should be noted that everyone, even the most cheapskatiest of us, can view the opening ceremony and e-sports tournaments for free.

Ahh Blizzcon I always have a little pipe dream that they will announce either legacy servers or original ruleset servers at this time of year so I can return to the game and enjoy it again .

Wouldn’t that be fantastic :) too bad it’s unlikely to ever happen .

Im excited for new expansion announcement. They have the biggest team ever working on WoW now and after dealing with Burning Legion I wonder whats next for us

Hey look, flying mounts in a game that doesn’t let you fly in current content! Woop-dee-doo!

Those mounts are simply amazing

And… they are 2 seater mounts. Which removed the need to do the whole “Recruit a friend” hassle, or get one of the sandstone drake mounts in the game (also a huge pain).

Well, this is $40.

RAF on black friday takes a $5 game and two $15 monthly subs but gives you a $15 reward so net cost of $20.

Sanstone drake mount is almost always available and the US mean price is 96044.00g and a $20 token gives you 190,134g.

So $20 and a couple of minutes will get you a RAF or SSD mount.

But as I always say, the best answer to an either or question is both. I agree these mounts are amazing.

I’m new to the game but they are both really cool looking.

Haha those mounts are awesome, mini versions of those big air attack ships.
It will be bloody hard to choose which one though, I switch between factions so much..

Although first things first I need to check to see if there is a schedule and figure out what sort of time frame I am looking to have to stay up if I want to watch them live to see if it will be worth getting a virtual ticket

You get both mounts, not just one. They said “and” , not “or”.

Im pissed that there is no murloc pet this year =/ I wont be getting it this year solely because of that decision.

Maybe they ran out of Murloc pet ideas or they didn’t want to do anything that would be spoilery.

Then again earlier Blizzcons gave stuff like the Murloc Suit or the Blizzcon bear mount, and didn’t really normalize the Murloc pets til like 2009.

Also this is a two-seater mount so that’s always nice to have when most of the other two-seaters are a chore to obtain.

Yeah.

That’s just awesome comic

Possible they left it out for now as it’d spoil the expansion

Oooh, a miniature Dreadlord Jaina to follow you around and attack nearby critters with a shout of “Remember Theramore!”

You are competently correct and I totally misread it, my bad.
Well that makes it easy for me then :)

I was never really bothered with the Murloc pets myself, but it is kind of crappy if they randomly ditch it this year.

There could be a murloc still but it’d spoil the expansion.

Very good point, so the Murloc lovers may not be left high and dry yet :)

It could still happen (not keeping my hopes up) they didnt announce everything you get yet. This was just what you could get today, in game, for buying the ticket.
