TERA M gives a taste of its gameplay, combat, and pig ridin’

With the mobile spin-off of TERA launching in Korea this November and moving on to the west in 2018, it is probably high time that we get to know what this hand-held MMO has to offer.

Enter… the features video. Actually, without a Korean translator on hand, it’s a little difficult to know exactly what features this video is promoting, but it is pretty eye candy nevertheless. You can see what looks like a beginner area, characters emoting, flight, combat, and (of course) someone riding a pig.

Curious what classes and races will be present in the game? Many TERA staples will make the jump, although they will be only available in a fixed race-class offering.

Don’t you love how TERA knows their audience. The video is 90% loli characters.

I sometimes wonder if the FBI monitors this game and their players

…because they may all jump over to ISIL, and blow up gathered citizens who disagree with their bent. /s

Nah, cause they all own vans with Free Candy on the side

…and selling candy coated strawmen in the hyperbole, no doubt. As it’s quite likely that most who play TERA aren’t like that at all. And probably why the FBI isn’t likely to waste time on said players, who spend time indulging in polygon made fantasies at worst, isn’t going to bring ‘Merica to it’s knees. Or steal away its children at night. Just saying.

This is the 2017 census. Just look at that race chart…

You know that a great amount of those Ellin are female players who think they’re cute, and not males who are excited by them. As far as mobile goes in the US the mobile market has more female players than males (I don’t know how that goes for other countries) and so featuring your cutest character that female players would be drawn to would be pretty smart for a mobile trailer.

It’s not only cute but a good fantasy story to see the little girl looking character beating up monsters. It’s especially relatable to me as I grew up dressing up in cat costumes with my best friend when we were that age.

I also bet a lot of guys like to play cute characters innocently.

Last we finally get around to those that are perverts. Yes, I do realize there are a good number of those playing Terra, I can’t deny that. I’d hear them run their mouthes constantly when I did play Terra – though they’re obviously the minority they’re vocal so you hear them a lot. As the other person replying said, the FBI has more to worry about than a few perverts who enjoy looking at polygon images of a race that looks like young girls. It’s a silly fantasy that isn’t real, and certainly our game fantasies don’t normally translate into real life.

I don’t like the Ellin attracted perverts any more than you do, though I think a good deal of them just think it’s funny to say the stuff they do. I don’t think there’s a lot to worry about from them in the real world just because of their game fantasies. I’d guess that most real life sexual abusers aren’t playing Terra during their free time. As the other replying person said a few times, the FBI wouldn’t waste their time worrying about Terra players.

@ Mewmew

Thank you for this.

To think of folks who play Elin because of the Kawaii factor. Or because they like playing small races. Or because they like playing “girly” races. Or because they like to play furry leaning races. Or because the Elin have access to 10 different classes. Or because Elin hit boxes give players an advantage in PvP. I could go on…

….but the likeliness of players who play the Elin for pervy reasons starts to shrink considerably. As well as the reasons to play Elin increases considerably as the OP’s chart example demonstrates.

Unless the OP can come up with evidence and reputable citation that all players who play Elin (or TERA for that matter) are indeed pedophiles, he really should shut about it. Because accusing players of something they are not because they play a certain race (or game) is disingenuous and ignorant at best.

So? The FBI would unlikely be interested in a game fact chart. It really doesn’t tell them anything. I am not sure what is your point.
