It’s always a crapshoot whether or not smaller patches are going to pay out with exciting features or fail to make a blip on the community. This week’s Dungeons and Dragons Online patch might fall into the former camp, especially if you happen to play a Cleric or a Favored Soul class.

Update 36 Patch 2 adds, for the first time, domain choices for Clerics. Now player Clerics can specialize in one of 19 (!) domains and gain feats from them as they level. These domains range from healing to trickery to luck and offer another level of character build customization for the class.

Favored Soul classes also get their day in the sun, benefiting from increased starter stats and two additional feat choices at levels two and seven. The patch also improved the Mimic Hunt event, with new rewards and new ways to earn those goodies.

Looking ahead to the future? Then you might want to check out the game’s latest livestream, during which Standing Stone teased both the logo and the music for the upcoming Mists of Raveloft expansion. Expect a chunk of it playable on the PTS next week as well, including the Aasimar race and Vistani Knife Fighter enhancement tree.
