are you candy

If you like wielding a sword in Dauntless, get ready to be more mobile. New dodge abilities are coming to all weapons, and swords are the first to get a new dodge trick. They’re hardly the only weapon coming out with new stuff in this patch, though; chain blades have had their invulnerability frames extended for pull-in/flip-out moves, to make their special attack more viable. This is coupled with lots of balance changes and bug fixes for behemoths in general.

Players can also look forward to assorted quality of life and polish improvements, such as easier swapping between chat windows and aether wisps no longer hovering just out of reach for players. The patch should be out today, so sword users can get accustomed to being a bit more mobile once it’s live. Or a few hours after it’s live; you may be at work and unable to play for a while, we don’t know or judge.
