So, uh
Update 21 has arrived for Lord of the Rings Online, which means the two new dungeons that have been getting tested for the past few weeks are now firmly in the hands of players. You can feel free to take a look through the full patch notes for all of the changes, and get in there to start hacking through the dungeons! Everything else is fine.

Well, for a given definition of “fine.” Sure, the patch accidentally launched with gear priced far too low, and so the developers are stripping players of the gear they may have already purchased while offering no replacements for gear that may have been sold or broken down. And sure, those same items are now priced four times higher than they were before. That’s still fine, right?

No, that’s probably not fine. There are also players raising concern that the game’s new Light mechanics have turned into what amounts to a rehash of the much-hated Radiance mechanic from older content with plenty of new grind to support it, but… uh. On the bright side, new dungeons?

Update: SSG has altered the deal – we’ve updated in a fresh post, but the short version is now you’re getting some compensation!
