The update contains a new featured episode called Melting Pot that stars LeVar Burton as Geordi LaForge. It also tosses in a new tier 5 fleet holding, a Tzenkethi Red Alert, two new fleet holding defense queues, and the “miracle worker” specialization. In addition, players will be able to grab a free kilt and “skant” uniform option for free when the update arrives.
In the meanwhile, console players will have to console (ahem) themselves with a double experience weekend. This event, which is running through October 30th, doubles the skill points and expertise from all manner of activities.
