Go treasure hunting in Revelation Online’s Karstwald

[AL:Rev]If you follow Revelation Online at all, one thing you will notice is that the game continues to post spotlight articles on different systems, characters, and zones on a regular basis. This is pretty helpful to newcomers to any game, really, and helps players get a feel for what the whole MMO contains.

As part of this effort, today the team posted a tour through the zone of Karstwald. Beautiful name, no? You probably won’t be surprised to hear that Karstwald is made up of a harsh desert landscape, although it’s not devoid of content. There are lost tourists to find, a treasure hunting activity, and a Windswept Gauntlet challenge.

“It is at least partially civilized,” the devs write, “even if the most popular areas involve the infamous Black Market in all its dodgy glory. Outside of that, it is also home to a fortress that is specifically designed to not only ward off invasions by the wolvern tribes, but also the demons themselves, making it a vitally important location no matter what opinions may be of the environment.”
