Guild Wars 2’s fourth living story season is set to begin November 28

ArenaNet just announced that the fourth season of living world content will kick off in Guild Wars 2 on November 28th. The teaser provides basically no other information, stating that “season 4 will continue the epic story of Tyria, seamlessly transitioning from the events of Path of Fire.” Which is helpful, since the larger part of the new trailer is actually clips from last year’s season – until you get to the part with ol’ Balthy and his ruination of the desert.

It does appear that the living story will maintain the two-to-three-month cadence and be available only to those who own Path of Fire, though we assume you can still “claim” the episodes without owning it. Trailer inc!

That’s almost too fast, I’ve still got plenty to get done but I can’t really complain about having too much content. They’ve really nailed the two month cadence thing.

I heard from a little skritt over at ArenaNet HQ that the endings for each of the chapters come in box of 30 possible outcomes on the gem shop. The only way to assure you get the one you want is to buy them all at 400 gems per ending.

Fair enough, that’s fast.

But I feel like a broken record asking for better and more importantly consistent rewards. Supposedly it’s coming with a new fractal and a new raid, but damn do the new maps need loot similar to those.

The map and meta rewards just got updated in the last patch actually. Overall people seem to be happy with the changes and running all the meta’s a lot more.

Well, LS maps had dedicated skins and so on, but yeah. I guess that some more stuff is good.
Still I highly value LS3 even now since it allows me to equip a lot of characters with ascended trinkets without spending much beside some daily tuff when i feels like.
