I recently picked up the “Krypto the Super-Dog” base pet, and was impressed with the amount of work and detail that went into the creation. He has all sorts of fun animations, and they don’t all come out immediately — you have to watch him for a bit.

My favorite comes when Krypto sneezes a dog-sneeze, and it acts like Superman’s freeze-breath, spreading ice all over the floor of your base. :-)

Somebody put a lot of thought, as well as work, into the design of this game pet. DC Universe Online may be under-staffed (depending on which sources you believe) but somebody definitely still cares about the details.

Best in-game pet I’ve acquired in a while.

That would be because Jim Lee still helps with development from time to time. Don’t know who he is look it up. :P

Jim Lee took time out of his schedule at DC Comics — including the upcoming The Immortal Men series — to personally oversee the animation of a Krypto pet?

Back to Arkham you go, you Joker, because you’re pranking me for sure. :-D

I was only trying to give props to whichever dev(s) put work in that was clearly above and beyond the call of dev-duty.

Cheers,
