WRUP: It’s time to figure out if we’re wanted by the police and why edition

All right, everyone, settle down, you’re probably wondering why I called this meeting. Let me get right down to it: Last weekend was a lot of fun, but since then, there are some disturbing indications that we may all be wanted by the police for a variety of crimes. I don’t want to point fingers, but I think it’s time to figure out if we’re wanted by the police, and if so, why.

Like, seriously, I woke up with a lot of blood on my sheets. But that could actually mean lots of things. And I didn’t write myself a note about what I did, but Liam remembered to. It’s just that Liam’s note reads “make seven bob right proper quick in Londonderrydo” and Liam is, I must remind you, from Wisconsin. He doesn’t even know how much money seven bob is. I don’t know how much money that is. Is it even money?

Oh, those are sirens outside. Look, we’ve got to sort this out quickly before the police arrive, if for no other reason than it would be helpful to know whether we should confess, pay a fine, or book it. Let us know what you’re doing this weekend down in What Are You Playing, maybe we can work backwards from that.

Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): Recovering from a Chevy Chase-esque family function. I’m hoping for some Pokemon Go time and maybe Final Fantasy XIV, but I’m not sure if it’ll happen

Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): Guild Wars 2 for sure; we’re trioing in Path of Fire and having absurd fun. Maybe something else will grab me too. I keep thinking about ARK: Survival Evolved for some reason.

Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): Nothing too ornate, even though I’ve got a rather wide-open weekend schedule; mostly I’ll be focusing on FFXIV and World of Warcraft per usual, as well as likely getting to a proper start in Project Gorgon.

Justin Olivetti (@Sypster, blog): I want to get through an interesting “walking simulator” called Tacoma, since I actually play the Steam games that I buy when they’re on sale. Some Dungeons & Dragons Online would be good, and I’m going to keep up with my money generation efforts in World of Warcraft. It’d be pretty awesome if I could buy the expansion by just playing the game!

Pierre, patron: Hello MOP readers, I’m Pierre and I’m an addict: I’m playing World of Tanks again. I tried to resist its call but wasn’t strong enough. Even worse, I’m diluting it with some PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds this weekend. Hard drugs… sigh! I’m definitely a PvPer these days. Enjoy your weekend MOP readers and beware if you plan on riding your tank to the park this weekend; kind advice, better find another occupation, because I’m merciless. Cheers!

Your turn!

Star Traders: Frontiers

It’s easy to overlook and I’m not a fan of this sort of game in general, but I can’t give this one higher marks for depth and innovation in an RPG. Lots of classes/jobs. Deeply integrated faction mechanics with procedural-generated interaction between factions makes every story custom-tailored. Stats and abilities are highly impactful and difficult to meta, which is a tough balance to achieve.

So this weekend I’ll be helping Captain Mustache Fabulous and the crew of the Impenetrable as they scour alien planets searching for sexy lifeforms.

Thanks, Steve — I was sort of looking for a game like this to play, so I took a flyer on it, based on your description.

It already looks like there’s more to it than I expected. Thanks for the tip!

Hmm. I’m going to have to check in on this game.

I wish I had the proper terminology to peg this game, but this one is outside of my normal preferences. There’s a depth of craft here that I would never expect given the surface appearance and the mobile-friendly design.

This is that remake of the old EA classic Starflight games I always wanted, but with much more than I could have imagined. It’s Darkest Dungeon but instead of a static ladder of dungeons you have a dynamic world that changes around you. It’s space combat, boarding, tabletop RPG, Space Trading, piracy, exploration, spying… they’ve built a procedural-generated RPG game that has entirely open agency and deep, impactful systems.

Sorry for the gush, but I really admire the work these Trese brothers have done.

FFXIV, watching Overwatch League, and more FFXIV. Possibly other things too but FFXIV is consuming most of my time lately.

Dishonored 2 and loving it. Also reinstalled E:D, but I haven’t made it past the tutorial again. I can’t seem to configure the throttle on my flightstick correctly. I’m also going to check out the latest graphical updates in Die Young 0.5 and give that a quick spin.

I tried watching some of the Overwatch league. It really isn’t watchable and the fact that they are using major cities as the team backdrops doesn’t change the fact they are just a bunch of asian kids who have no relation to the cities in question at all.

tl;dr OW league is really dumb and a waste of time.

I’m playing wow, trying to get my health back on track and reading a lot of how-tos to better myself for the year.

Yeah I stayed up till midnight to watch the first day of matches as that is when they show in my part of the world. Really I should have just gone to bed and got a good nights sleep.

I enjoy playing Overwatch a lot and usually play at least a couple of matches a night but often more.

However from a spectator point of view I think its about the worst thing I have tried to watch. There is too much going on and its not easy to see where / when things are happening from a spectator view point. Coupled with the usual shout casting presentation style that seems to go hand in hand with these type of events yeah no thanks not for me.

Reader
Loyal Patron
Armsbend

Yeah the fast paced nature of the game makes the shout casting too frantic. Coupled with the fact that pretty much both teams are using complete mirror characters and it’s the same wait until you have 5 people rush in tactics in ranked when you play. It just doesn’t watch well at all. Frankly I thought it was a good idea until I watched it now it seems like a really awful idea – and I enjoy esports.

If it was five scrappy kids from Philly, or London, or wherever it might be compelling but it’s 5 korean kids who were poor enough in their home countries where their parents let them live in a squalor house in some strange city half a world away…it’s just all so very weird to me. It’s not organic at all.

If I put it together I’d have some starter cities, have a ladder tournament to determine who the top 5 were and have actual kids from the actual cities living, working and playing there. THAT would have been compelling even if they weren’t at the very top of the gaming food chain. As it is it just isn’t.

Wild Buster, Elvenar, Fortnite.
I’ve neglected gaming to binge watch the Punisher Netflix series.
Also looking to try an MMO that is either new(ish) or that I haven’t played in a while, but I’m not sure what yet.

Liked the Punisher Netflix series well enough, but it kinda irritated me that the show had so many side plots and sub-plots that it basically made the Punisher a guest star in his own series.

I think Jon Berenthal does an excellent job with the character of the Punisher. Next time out, I’d like the story to be more directly about him, and less about various supporting characters.

My opinions only, of course. Glad you had fun!

My only crimes this week were probably fashion crimes.

Not a lot of gaming here this week — caught a “lite” version of the flu that’s going around, and its debuff has stacked with the health stuff I was already pushing through.

I’ll be okay — it’s just annoying and inconvenient.

One WRUP thing I can offer — I started following one of the scripted plots on offer in No Man’s Sky (the Artemis one) and, well kids, shite gets weird.

I’m enjoying myself, but I never expected that NMS would get so trippy with its plotlines. I’m still not sure where it’s all going, but I’m curious to find out.

Treat yourself and others well, please. Treat each other better than people have been treating each other in the comments sections this week (depressing). Here’s to better days!

I’m not entirely sure what I’ll be playing this weekend, probably a little more Fallout 4 and Fortnite. Maybe a few more side missions in The Division. Skyrim perhaps? Lots of good options, just nothing standing out right now.

I finally hit 60 on my Dank Knight in BDO so I’ll be exploring a bit with her as I don’t want to level up any more on her just yet. I also got my Zerker to 56 and I can’t believe how fast leveling is now in BDO from at least 1-56. It’s so much faster than it used to be I think I may level up a Valk and Witch just for kicks.

I’m doing a Dark Souls 3 playthrough for the first time and getting ready for Season 3 of Street Fighter V Arcade Edition coming out on the 16th as well.

I’m still working on my Guild Wars 2 quest for the Predator, just need a few more hours in WvW and a mass evacuation of my bank tabs and I’m ready to roll. Aside from that, I’m working my way through mount and mastery point collecting, and maybe a few hero points to see what Mirage and Scourge are like.

Its odd. I used to spend most of my time roleplaying, now I’m spending most of it doing PvE and WvW. I feel like I’m kinda going backwards in priorities?

Playing some GTAO with my main Monster Hunter buddy to pass the time until MHW comes out. I wasn’t pressuring him in the slightest, but he broke down and pre-ordered the PS4 version despite being part of the PCMR crowd.

Besides that, I’m almost finished with LA Noire. Once I beat that, it’ll be back to leveling up and hunting down carbon crystal on AC: Origins before tackling what seems to be the final story quest. And there will be some Bravely Default in there, too. Leveling Monk on everyone until they get Inner Alchemy.

Unfortunately, holding off on reactivating my FFXIV account. With MHW just over the horizon, I have some games I want to clear off my backlog, and then I won’t be giving much attention to anything else for a long while once MHW does release. The exception might be the PS4 remaster of Shadow of the Colossus, and then Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology later that same month.

Reader

After avoiding it since release because i absolutely hated the original game that much i finally picked up The Witcher III and an hour in doing the ‘Devil in the Well’ quest really sold me purely on going around and doing a little detective work instead of being some ‘lets kill the fucker’ hero like someone out a modern comic book or something. Finally get what the gushing is about and hopefully it can tide me over till Monhun World.

Also braved the vampiric clerks of games workshop for the first time in years and picked up a starter box for the age of sigmar undead. Looks like a hard reboot to try and draw in younger tabletop crowds that prefer skirmish games but i have that hankering for a minatures game i get like every 5 or 6 years again.

-oh and levelling my crafters to 70 in FFXIV, one more 60-70 and i’m done and god i know so many folks who don’t know about the aetherial reduction system in this game and i cannot imagine sitting on a wealth of crystals for crafting without it.

Joined Rafael’s modest (but lively) and informal EpicMOPs clan in Blade & Soul, and have been having a good go of it since coming back after about a year away. Leveling my Gunslinger (mid-20’s now), and certainly horrified Uta when we randomly crossed paths battling the Pot Dogs boss Wu Fo.

Word is the Pink Pigtails don’t favour such healthy proportions of the female characters, and mine usually have the legs that might represent a LOT of sprinting and leaping about so inherent in the game’s mechanics. ;)

Bored to tears so I made a smuggler in SWTOR. The story is cute (can you say that about a story where someone has a death bounty on her head?) and is only hampered by the repetitive mission style of SWTOR. Also I discovered (remembered?) as a preferred player I can only post in general chat once every 15 minutes. Lovely. Would play Splatoon with the grand kid but he’s on punishment this weekend…no devices :(

My main is a Smuggler (Gunslinger subclass) and I certainly had fun with him when there was still content to play :-) Seriously, the original story questline is decent, for sure.

As for the preferred player crap — it’s best not to get me started. :-) The worst false “free-to-play” scheme I’ve ever seen.

They’re so dead-set against free-to-players having access to anything useful, they should’ve just made it all a straight-up subscription-only game and called it done.

But that would’ve been … too sensible? :-)

In any event, I hope you enjoy your smuggler and her adventures!

I’ve been away for a while, first with the flu (that scuttled all our Christmas plans), then just with catching up with everything. But in that time I played and finished Watch_Dogs 2 (excellent, possibly even better than GTA 5) and started and have almost finished Slime Rancher. Both are highly recommended.

Also, I’m still regularly playing Overwatch. I’ve reached a silver portrait now. I almost have my first silver star, in fact. Weekly group is playing Warframe.

I decided to have a New Year’s resolution this week: to recommit myself to rationality, civility and positivity in my online interactions. I know it’s not really an earth shattering announcement, but after watching my current favorite game getting continuously bashed for the last month; and re-plugging myself into social media trying to get a modest Twitch stream started up; it’s become abundantly apparent to me that we all need to take a minute before hitting that send button, and asking ourselves if this is the best version of ourselves. I’m trying to stop and ask: does this inquire, inform, or entertain; not preach, or belittle; and would I say this, like this, to someone if they were standing right in front of me? If the answer is “no” I don’t post it. It might not be much, but it’s my way of trying to contribute to a more civilized world.

Okay, game stuff.

Still loving my time with Destiny 2. I’m pretty stoked about the adjustments announced this week. There’s nothing shocking there, but nothing bad there either, so I’m pleased. And as one of the great poets of our time once said “haters gonna hate, hate, hate” so I’m just trying to ignore the venomous bile that’s being spewed the game’s way, and enjoy what I’m enjoying.

Also, as stated earlier, I’ve been trying to get started streaming on Twitch with Life Is Strange: Before the Storm this week as well. As one might expect the initial results are humbling: I’ve picked up one follower. So, I’m not an overnight Internet sensation: I’ll just keep plugging away at it. I still intend to explain my opinions on Life Is Strange to you in more detail — not because I’m trying to convince you of anything, only because I figure you deserve the courtesy of knowing my mind, and how I drew the conclusions I did.

You are, of course, entirely entitled to your own opinions, and I would have it no other way.

Still, I gotta feel better before anything much happens. I promise I’m working on that!

Hey, what did I tell you last week about being sick? I said stop being sick and just be awesome instead! And then you just go and do the opposite of what I told you! It’s like you’re trying to piss me off.

Hehe…

Seriously though, get better soon: being sick sucks (which is why you should just be awesome instead).

And don’t worry about rushing off to check out my black hole of charisma… er, I mean my Twitch stream… I’m taking it slow going through the games. Just sticking to two hours a session on stream nights, so it’s going to take another week before I even get into the middle of the original Life Is Strange. Made the mistake of trying to plow through an episode per night of the prequel, which turns out to be almost 4 hours per episode, and now I’m sticking to a fairly strict “two hours, with an occasional extra fifteen minutes” policy.

That looks awesome. Whenever I see someone who can actually draw, it makes me a little ashamed of my lack of patience when I attempted to learn to draw many, many, many moons ago.

Reader

I think what i can say to someone who wants to draw quickly is to honestly study. But it kinda requires fortitude. That even i don’t have. I hate anatomy with a passion.

That being said, having concepts you want to bring life to, helps a lot. I pretty much live and die making characters and concepts, so drawing is like second nature to me nowadays, because i’m always thinking of stuff like stories and such. Literally.

For now, the two concepts i’m having in mind is pretty much these: A gnome cleric, with warrior training, who dabbles in military prowess and shadowmagic, like a blackguard or shadowknight, and a dwarf flagellant, who uses two morning stars to bleed and bruise his enemies.

This week: Introducing Rein Zwei, my Frost Force Master who is a tall bodied blue Lyn who hits like a truck. She is a nice girl, intellectually curious, likes to be social at parties…but quickly descends into bouts of icy recklessness for the funs. And with the tradition of introducing all my Lyn characters on the Massively IP, she is my 5th. So feel free to introduce yourselves to her. She won’t bite, but might be a bit cold with the touch! <3

Also this week: I seem to be perpetually stuck at level 50 in Blade & Soul on my pink main. And not because I am distracted in raising now 5 toons there. But unlike WoW, which once it raises the level cap, one's max level levels respectively…instead, I seem to held, I suppose, at content to its previous max level so I can complete it without cheesing it. But the story associated with it never seems end…as I seem to be rescuing and chasing my students to all ends of that world. Speak of herding cats! Elite. Elite. Elite. I rarely play anything else anymore.

Bought a Python for the hell of it yesterday. I have so many credits I barely blink an eye at rebuying much of anything. Even my Anaconda. It’s pretty nice as a multipurpose, and does my rep grind/moneytrain system better than the conda. I do love the visuals. We’ll see if I stick with it enough to buy some paintjobs.

After I make a few more billion on the moneytrain it is back to opposing the Imperials in their latest, ill-advised powergrabs. We trounced Grom’s space fascists last week, and reinforced the point that they’re still afraid to fly against us in Open. Allowed Princess Buttercup to take a single system from from the lines, but soon enough it will be back to throwing monkey wrenches into their expansions and turmoiling all their systems (the latter may be fantasy.)

I just can’t wait to get back into my Federal Assault Ship. I don’t really want to fly anything else anymore other than my trusty Cobra3.

Hm. Seems my free VPN is almost out for the month by the 13th. Color me surprised. Guess this is probably my last post until Feb unless I find another workaround :p

I pretty much live in my Python these days. I have all of the Big 3 but always seem to end up back in Ye Olde Python. The biggest choice I have these days is whether I want to use the Golden paint or the Black Friday paint on it. Ship paint is a very serious choice. One that I see you also take seriously as you have that Dazzle paint on your FAS. I’d love to have the Dazzle on the Chieftain. That might actually get me out of the Python, heh.

We’ll see if I can sneak one more post in…

I’m using mine as a mini-Anaconda that can move a little better. No engineering, yet, so when I get FSD range and Dirty Drives to G5 it’ll be a nice little taxi/mission runner/mat collector, which is the role my Cobra has been playing for awhile now. It is parked at Wolf 562 doing moneytrain missions with a full loadout of passenger cabins. Making billions before they drop the mission changes that are upcoming.

But I’ve settled into a bit of a schedule with Elite. Since I’m deep into Powerplay my weeks are Thursday-to-Wednesday. Thursdays are cycle day 1, so it is a day for 1) moving ships to the new warfront with a taxi; 2) Engineering and mat collecting; 3) Rep grinding. Through the weekend I usually park at one activity. Right now moneytrain, but often Undermining/PvP for Powerplay. Sunday is usually for getting back to the front. Come Monday (day 5) it is almost always hardcore Powerplay time. Wings and opposition and tons of fun. By Wednesday night, the Discord is a party as we finish off our last minute strategies and push push to win our conflicts.

So, my Python will likely just be a replacement for my Anaconda, since I hate hate hate big ships. The passenger moneytrain isn’t too effected by the smaller ship, and it means I can actually fly the thing halfway decently since I’m a zoom-zoom, smaller-ship combat pilot. Once it gets a bit engineered it will likely replace my Cobra if I can stomach the turn rates well enough, which isn’t a given. Hell, I could buy six or seven of them if I wanted without really denting the bank much by their point, so I may end up with multiples.

Also, I really love the sound design for the Python. And the visuals. They’re pretty damn spot on :D

Starting off with FFXIV. The main story line is rather boring right now so I’m taking a break from it. Going to focus on leveling up Lancer a bit so I can unlock Dragoon. Got up to level 23 so far but I forgot how slow leveling is in FF games. Or maybe other games are just too fast. I dunno, either way I need to redo my game plan a bit and figure out how to level up in this game. The Lancer story line fun but I think the Pugilist line was a bit better. Hamon Holy Fist was great and although the Lancer guild leader isn’t bad, he certainly isn’t Holy Fist tier.

After that it’s more Warframe time. Need to finish up getting the Corinth shotgun which is easy but I’ve been putting it off because I really don’t want to farm more Cryotic. I’ll make the last push for that later today. Still need 2 more parts for Mirage Prime as I haven’t really bothered trying to get her. I might try to finish crafting her later on.

Keeping it going with Elite Dangerous. Now that the Chieftain is on the way I need to build up my finances a bit to A rate that beast as soon as it releases. There’s some rescue operations to be done with the recent Thargoid attacks which are paying out quite well. Time to go save some people and make some cash doing it.

Plugging away at Rise of the Tomb Raider. I keep getting distracted from the game by having to stop and stare at how pretty it is. Making decent progress on it as I’m starting up the Baba Yaga DLC. I’ll go do that for the gear and then use that for the rest of the story.

Finally, FINALLY finished Witcher 2 on that last run. I hate that game now and will never play it again. What a slog. Fortunately Witcher 3 is significantly better so I’m firmly back on the Witcher’s Path. The game also looks fantastic on my new rig. I can run it on 2k Ultra just like Rise of the Tomb Raider. Looks amazing. Now I just have to go find Yennefer and I can get out of this dumpy little village.

If there’s time I’ll give The Division another go. I made it to like level 4 and then left because of the bullet sponge enemies. I keep hearing it gets more interesting so I’ll keep at it.

To wrap it all up I grabbed Stellaris while it was on sale for cheap. Got the Nova edition and the Utopia expansion. I’m a sucker for space games but I’ve never really gotten into 4x games so this will be a new experience. Looking forward to failing miserably among the stars but hopefully looking good while I do it.

Hmm. Looking at all that typed out makes me realize I have too many games to play. What a great problem to have. Guess I better get to it.

I quit SWL earlier this week because as much as I want to see the story I’m not willing to slog through poor gameplay to get it. I then spent a day on WoW PTR and was very pleased with the leveling & combat changes. It’s the first time since TSW that I’ve had a MMO leveling experience that didn’t annoy me in one way or another. Unfortunately I’m now stuck in gaming limbo waiting for 7.3.5 to go live and trying to think of something small & simple I could play in the meantime.

You held out way longer than I did with that SWL! I hope those of you still holding on get rewarded with decent new content some time in 2018.

It was my third attempt, too. Definitely won’t be a fourth.

Over the past week I have been playing Elite: Dangerous and have made my first billion credits. A nice milestone to reach and a comfy safety net to have against my poor flying skills and Thargoids but mostly my poor flying.

I also downloaded Elder Scrolls Online again while they had the free sub perks promotion and have been poking the Morrowind expansion again with my still low level Warden. Have to say I think I may well sub up again once the promotion is over as I have been having fun with it.

However over this weekend I have decided to play a single player game and settled on Freespace 2 which I have on my GoG account. I never finished it for one reason or another so I intend to correct that. Have spent a little time upgrading it with a few mods so it looks quite nice now. Just need to finish tweaking my steam controller so it comfortably works with the game and I will be all set to dive in I think.

Plenty there to keep me busy I think. Hope everyone has a safe and fun gaming weekend o/

With so many people mentioning Elite: Dangerous, it’s making me want to reinstall and give it another try. I really loved what little I played, but even as a huge fan of games that let me figure stuff out and don’t hold my hand, I was finding making headway kind of impenetrable.

It can be tricky to get going but once you figure out the basics of flight. fighting and work out what you enjoy doing it kind of just ticks along nicely. At least that is how it seems to have worked out for me.

This week I tried Stash which I thought I would like since I am a loot whore. Once I got into the first dungeon/cave I remembered piddlin with it about a year ago. I had memories of it seeming to be a better experience than it currently feels like at the start for me, so that was a short trip.

Next up I was going to try Runescape. I tried to make an account, but someone had already used my email address to make one. I was always too confused by all the different versions of RS to think about giving it a go before so I know that email was successfully used without verification….w….t….f…. (pet peeve of mine here since there are currently 6 women and 2 men who are constantly typoing this email address in for various things and giving me access to their accounts).
You also cannot reset a password without putting in the date and apparent location of the IP address originally associated with the account – so I used another email account. Then I find that you cannot paste a password into the input box and I contemplate the trouble of inputting 30+ chars of giberish every time I want to play or making my password 123456. I tap out…gg jagex gg.

So …. I watched DOTA 2 tournament qualifiers ………. and started reading what is basically a history book of the world in which Game of Thrones is set in written from the perspective of a maester.

Might peak in on Blade and Soul this weekend. At any rate, it’s updating. Otherwise, I haven’t the slightest idea. Definitely going to get a table top session going tonight as all the ladies are at a spa for the weekend courtesy of my work and Christmas. Should be good times today regardless of what game I finally decide to play! Have a good one folks! And stay warm and safe where ever you are!

How’s Star Citizen running for you? I requested a Massively stream as a pledge reward for this month and MJ has agreed to take the assignment, but she’ll be helpless in game and I’ve been intending to ask for your help. Think you might be up for a one-hour escort/protection job later this month?

I’ll send you a friend request on Spectrum when I’m at my gaming rig tomorrow, or send one yourself to my Spectrum callsign, Deadline.

i haven’t touched it since it’s gone live due to the various game breaking bugs and issues it currently has.

i was absolutely shocked their christmas sale and marketting focused on bringing in new customers given the state of the game.

i could probably try to do a guided tour of a mission perhaps but i’d recomend against newbies jumping into the game right now.

as it is i believe they changed the keybinds again for live and i’m not sure what the new ones are right now as they aren’t reflected on the in game keybind cheat sheet.

i’m hoping they do steady smaller bug fix and performance improvement patcyhes for the next 3 months that slowly bring it to a better state becuase this is honestly the most frustrating it’s been to play since PU first came out. >>

edit: i also go afk fairly frequently so i might not be ideal to help MJ out on stream >>

Thank you. I agree with you entirely.

I had my sticks and pedals roughed in during the alpha, but I’m still not up to speed with the 3.0 bindings and it’s not worth the effort to edit and tune until they settle on something. I haven’t installed whatever went live and wasn’t even aware of it until I saw Bree’s post this week and remembered my commitment to a stream.

The game isn’t presentable. Best to wait.

But do keep it in mind I’m keeping a retainer on that stream. If they do manage to pull themselves out of their miserable spiral and get things to a presentable state, I’ll look you up. I’ve donated a Taurus and one of those little tandem-seat Origin runabouts to the Massively hanger.

oh there was an edit also to that. i do go afk fairly frequently so i’m not the best streaming partner lol.

also i hope MJ has a really fast ssd because it takes well over 2 minutes for the game to load on my m2 960 pro

I’ll probably be flying her ship, along with whomever of the Stream Team regulars I can shanghai. I can fly a connie without crashing too much, but it’d be nice to have someone in a super hornet or sabre flying escort, if only as a deterrent, so you wouldn’t have to commit to being present.

We could probably fill an hour just flying to Levsky to shop for overcoats, then taking screenshots at Benniehenge or something similarly less likely to get us murdered or hung up on a quest bug.

i have a pretty well rounded fleet right now so i could probably do something like that.

and a trip to levsky might make better than banging our heads on combat or quests for sure. there’s certainly plenty to explore there once landed so…

The cops are after me for sure, warrant ready with the helicopters on back-up. For I have not only sinned, but broken at least 14 federal & state laws.
My crime?

I didn’t play a single game over the last week, but yet I found the time to binge an entire season of The Great British Bake Off. (Not even joking, that’s what happened). At the moment it’s just too good outside not to even try at least enjoying a bit of it while it last (and then it goes all rainy).

So i’ll need to play vicariously through ya’ll. I am currently on a bit of a break from games in order to get back my interest, but the thoughts of re-subbing to WoW often pop into my mind.
So i’ll most likely try to play some games next week, but also going to be busy with a shift and going to see The Book of Mormon as it’s heading into its final weeks on stage here.

A bit of LOTRO, GW2 if I can manage, and a lot of the waiting game. Waiting to hear what hubs work schedule will be like. The plant had an emergency shut down and now they’re not producing oil. So, everyone is trying to get it up and running again. Thanks -40C weather!
