I sometimes think about how difficult it would be to work as an MMO developer or community manager. While there would be a certain joy in being part of these incredible games, I personally don’t think it would be worth the vitriol and fickle natures of players. They get a lot of crap thrown at them, is what I’m saying.
Maybe today we can throw a little love their way instead? Take a minute or two to publicly call out a developer or community manager who genuinely does a good job and has earned your respect. Maybe it’s someone active in the field right now or someone from the past, but either way, which MMO dev do you love?
