Mechwarrior Online is still plugging along as the original home for fans of MMORPG mech combat, and in fact this week Piranha Games – which is hiring, by the way – has popped up with some freshly planned events and a summer roadmap.

“we wanted to give you a sneak peek of Rubellite Oasis’s new capture points on Conquest,” the devs write. “These changes improve the map balance for the opening season of Competitive Play leading to the World Championships at Mech_Con. The long-awaited Flea finally jumps into MWO and is sure to infest the servers. We have several mechs receiving 3060 Weapon retrofits and Bolton support.”

Among the quality-of-life adjustments coming in June specifically is the new build profile saving and sharing feature, which allows players to save, load, export, and import builds to share between clients and the community. Check out the whole run-down on the official site, and then keep an eye out for MechCon later this coming fall.
