Action MMO Warlords Awakening hits Steam, planning early access soon

So here’s a new one for the consideration pile: An MMORPG called Warlords Awakening has just dropped on Steam. Developer Playwith says it’s in the “last stages of development,” with launch planned for October and early access expected to run three months – meaning we should expect that early access in the next few weeks.

Warlords Awakening arrives with vast and beautiful maps to explore. Areas invaded by hordes of monsters that challenge the strength of even the most powerful lords. Dangerous dungeons guarded by the most terrifying enemies await those willing to challenge them. With a revolutionary Action-MMORPG style, you can change your Battle Stance mid-combat with 3 different skill trees instantly. Pets are more than just companions! Rareness and the race of your pets will all come into play as they provide distinct benefits to help you along your journey. Some can be used as mounts to help you go wherever you would like.”

Is it a real MMO? Looks like it – the devs are touting “thousands of adventures” in the same space. It’s set to include both PvE and PvP modes, five classes, 30 zones, and six dungeons, with more coming at launch.

Playwith Interactive seems to be the western subsidiary of Playwith Games, which has a massive catalogue of mobile games in the west as well as MMORPGs in South Korea.

Did I mention how pretty the pics are?

If this is ELOA, then this is good news for me. I’ve always had a guilty pleasure for that game. To bad it keeps shutting down.

As like the longest player out there that sticked to the game since the private server got opened in the West i can just recommend to at least try the game out, just because it got an isometric view doesn’t mean its just an Diablo or PoE clone actually this game got an AMAZING pvp system that diablo and poe could only dream of so at least try it before saying it is crap…

I wonder if the article writer didnt know about it, or he knew and didnt bother mentioning that its a realy old game rereleased?I mean it just needs one look to figure that the graphics are from a very old game. This is some information that should be mentioned in the article in my opinion.

tl;dr: Some random is going to re-release Eloa in light of the new Steam policy. Also, I highly doubt they have the source code.
So yeah… shady as fuck, don’t get hyped folks.

Love this comment , what lets you think they don’t got the source code of this game ? because it isn’t the original company that made the game is releasing it ? Npicsoft shut it down in korea and another publisher probably bought the rights for it they even rereleased it in korea i highly doubt they doing that illegaly as well….

I am fairly certain that this is actually just another (the 3rd?) re-launch of ELOA (Elite Lord of Alliance), just under a different name this time with possibly some slight tweaks or new content.
