One Shots: Fashion patrol coming your way!

Well that is certainly one way to fill up the comments section with tons of screenshots: asking all of you to show of your best and boldest fashion! We had a virtual fashion show last week in the One Shots comments, and here are my personal favorites of the bunch (although most all were tremendous).

First up is UpayaBlossom, who brings some springtime cheer into the dour setting of Secret World Legends. “Oooh… fashion show? I was born ready for this!” she wrote.

Here’s a weird thought. What if all of the enemies in video games were adorable people and we played as the hideous monsters? What kind of fashion would we sport then?

Rafael12104 had a bunch of outfits from Blade and Soul (of course), but I did like this one: “My Force Master Taliee shows off her fashion sense. She is wearing a magnificent outfit I call the Pink Trove (from the treasure trove). The dress is a perfect fit for days out on the sunny and scenic Soulstone Plains.”

And what weird world is this where Rafael shows us something pink but Utakata is completely devoid of it? Shocking!

“Galaxy Mint makes her flying entrance where her sleek outfit that’s all the buzz over the setting of Paragon City in City of Heroes,” she writes.

“This week I started again in Fallen Earth, a game where I spent hundreds of hours years ago,” said Rees Racer. “I’d almost forgotten how gratifying it is to craft every piece of clothing and ultimately every weapon and vehicle in the game… sometimes the effort taking many days. Later on, helmets, armour padding, goggles, etc can be made. But early on, it is not terribly hard to put together a duster, leather pants and moccasins to get properly and appropriately started in a post-apocalyptic Grand Canyon.”

“I think one of my favorite outfits in any game is still the one I have my EverQuest II Mystic in,” shares Katriana. “It’s part of why I use it for my avatar pic. This is the full picture I clipped the avatar pic from, showing her posing with her pet spirit wolf Ghost.”

Ready for another MMO screenshot challenge? Show us a picture of an area in game that you feel is just really well designed — it’s layout, visuals, function, and general enjoyment factor. Tell us about why you like it so much!

Every week, One Shots shines a spotlight on the best community screenshots from your MMO adventures. If you have a great pic to share, email it to justin@massivelyop.com with the subject “One Shots.” Make sure that the picture is over 880px wide and comes with a description or story!
