Infinite Crisis is coming to Steam on March 26

I did a double-take when Turbine announced that Infinite Crisis is launching on Steam later this month. I’ve been launching it through Steam for many months now, but that’s because I’m one of those weirdos who uses Valve’s app to catalog, organize, and otherwise obsess over the 20 million games installed on my PC.

Anyway. Infinite Crisis. DC Universe MOBA. Steam. March 26th.

Turbine’s press release says that this is a really real launch, too, and not one of those detestable early access eternal free-to-play beta things.

I tried this once during beta a while back and found the whole experience just not interesting or fun. while am as much a superhero fan as anyone else, the entire game just felt like it was trying to clone too many other features without ever really differentiating them enough to make any one of them shine.

Dystopiq GreyHalt I think they figured with the big superhero push there was a built in audience. I think if they differentiate themselve it could work

I’m sorry to say this but this game is not ready for release.
If you take a peek at their forums, you will see people are unable to play because of issues that have not been addressed or even a notion of getting fixed.

The population is low and its hard to find games, but login problems keeps people for logging in, so they move on, which is probably one of the reasons the population is low.

“I’ve been launching it through Steam for many months now”

For an autocorrect error, that came out great… you’ve been launching InfiniteCrisis-es on steam before Turbine ever even thought to, dagnabbit! And you had to launch them up-hill both ways, back in your day!

One can only hope that with this (finally) out of the door, Turbine will finally get back on track and make LotRO interesting again.

I wonder if that piece that came out a week ago or so with the anonymous Turbine employee saying things like, “Infinite Crisis is hemorrhaging money” had anything to do with this?

Oh Turbine…
I miss the old, slightly-dysfunctional you.

So this is a game about the SoE sell-off?

Tried it in beta but was too invested in other games to play it properly. Definitely going to give it a real shot at launch
