Here is the finest guild in the history of MMORPGs

Want a concise look at what’s changed in Elder Scrolls Online since launch? Look no further than this trailer for the game’s business model switch. The Tamriel Unlimited teaser trickled out to Reddit, the official ESO forums, and YouTube today with mildly dodgy provenance, and it shows off the justice and champion systems, endgame content, animation revamps, armor dyes, and a whole lot more.

Click past the cut to see for yourself. ESO’s B2P model launches on March 17th.

mysecretid Lunganor Ya, woke up to a 100% patched game today. I’m still in slight shock at the length of time needed to fully patch, lol. Crazy.

Pvp has not improved since the games introduction.
13 year old subscription based DAOC has had more improvements in the last year, than ESO pvp.

Everyone is talking about the time to download/patch the game..i started the digital purchase process at 7:30 a.m. on the 17th and was creating my first toon by 9:45 ish* ..I was actually nervous because of the >.< I keep reading on here about it…but..it’s not the first time either..SO I’m thinking it’s got to do w/peoples internet speeds?…or their computers?..i take around the same 2-3 ish  hours for every single game unless it’s a rare one that is really small and fast to install…I have Charter 60 meg speeds but they were 30 up until a couple months ago..and I have a 4? year old Digital storm ode 3 or something like that =p luv my lil machine..but my point is nothing is Uber on my side so why is it we all have such extremes when it comes to our gaming installs? as you can see I’m no tech guru =p but I would like to understand the what and why among our lil community

May have to give it a retry.  Just stuck at the moment with my finger on the trigger and not one thing pulling hard enough at me to commit and pull the trigger.  Has combat improved? Has pvp improved?  Just stuck at the moment…

It’s like a bunch of us were saying over in the worst patcher thread, ESO has one of the worst patchers in existence.
Even before the “new launch rush” today, it took me something like 15+ hours over the course of two days to patch the thing.
I ended up just running the patcher while I was sleeping — that way, I could still use my computer fully when awake.
Hang in there,

Benjamin Seeberger None. It borrows from ES superfluously (mainstreams the ES lore). It tries to emulate DAoC’S RvR but fails miserably because of trading shiny graphics for performance in AvA.

It’s a letdown for both camps.

Megus Loyheta Yeah I do too. I just think the resources would be better invested elsewhere. Voice Acting is becoming a staple in most large mmos these days though. I can see the value for a person who does listen to it. However I think, realistically, most don’t listen to it multiple times and others don’t listen to it at all. I just wonder how much content you could have added if you weren’t throttled by VOs
I, for example, am watching Top Gear on my other monitor. Also when I’m playing, I only play with my friends. And when we play together, we use Team Speak 3. So yeah, I don’t listen to any voice acting. I read it. However, when I think of TOR, I did listen to the entire class campaign. I soloed it because I was rushing for crafting (useless endeavor at the time). So while I can get some value I don’t think it’s worth it tbh. I appreciate it but I wonder how many text based quests you could get out in the time it takes to write, record, and sync a VO quest.

Evade2015 I was a healer actually, so yeah, trying to line up my group while dodging enemy telegraphs was not an easy task.
