Having relaunched The Elder Scrolls Online as a buy-to-play, sub-optional PC game last week, ZeniMax has now announced pre-orders for the console versions of the game. The game will officially launch on the PS4 and Xbox One on June 9th of this year.

The studio will offer two editions for each platform: The standard edition grants a minipet and bonus treasure maps plus the ability to roll any race in any alliance, while the Imperial edition includes the requisite physical map, 12″ statue, 224-page illustrated book, an extra minipet, duoing rings, a horse mount, and the chance to roll up an Imperial character.

Still thinking about picking up the game on PC? Of course you are. You’re an MMO player. Check out YouTuber Elloa’s tips video below before you do.

CrowingOne Archebius Oyjord I have a few friends who will be picking it up as they do not game on PC.  The fan base is there, it’s really a matter of if they actually buy it or not.

A Dad Supreme The loading screen issue drives me crazy.  I just reinstalled and it was still there.  Another issue that has appeared for me is my mouse not wanting to turn properly.  I’m not sure if it’s the type of mouse (Naga) or what as I have this issue on two different PCs.

meltedskul djnesh karmamule Rozyn … and they will end with (hopefully not) 3 underpopulated “megaservers” instead of one with good population and one with the rest …

djnesh karmamule Rozyn Blame MS for the lack of crossplatform and I’m sure they have things in contract that ps4 versions of the game must match the xbone in features so yeah, I doubt the PC+Ps4 x-plat will happen like FFXIV as long as ESO supports MS consoles.

But now, some of us will wait for the Seasonal Steam sale to come and entice us with this for $30 or less.

karmamule Rozyn ouch … that’s a big mistake. I hoped they’ll at least merge PC and PS4 players like FFXIV …

IMHO they do not have big enough numbers to keep all 3 separate worlds busy enough (especially console ones) and there is no reason for PC gamer to get console version too if one must start from scratch and cannot even send/trade/whatever with other alts.

Did not manage to find it on site … are the console players split per platform? If true that will be a huge mistake.
